All I have to say on this subject is that everyone has to make their own decisions about their relationships, and it’s unhealthy for Sam and Dean to not even try.
Relationships aren’t the end, in life or in stories. They’re just a different kind of beginning, and I don’t see the brothers ever giving up on hunting. In my story or on the TV show.
What Castiel can or can’t do will have to wait for his appearance in the stories, if and when he comes. Can’t be giving away trade secrets, after all 🙂
But as for a new journal and new clothes, Sam has both of these things. In A Schism of Fire and Water, Sam was given a journal from Dean for his birthday (just because it’s made for a dollhouse doesn’t mean it isn’t useful), and Krissy made him new clothing that Walt and the others gave him.
I’m not sure if we’ve made any mention of Bobby in any of the Brothers Found snippets, but I guess it’s no big secret.
Brothers Found was the first of the AUs we dreamed up, right when Lich was completed. It started out as a crack rp in skype… and then it turned into so, so much more (namely, the monstrosity of a horror story that it gave birth to and subsequent stories). Because of this, the plot is glossed over at points and Sam met Bobby in the same was as he did in Brothers Apart. Later AUs will pay more attention to these parts, but (we were excited to start the horror story so we skipped around).
Oh, we will definitely post it! We did a poll for what story to post, and Brothers Lost was the first to win! You can bet you’ll see Brothers Adopted right back in the poll next time around ^-^
Anything we write that you see mentioned here, we plan on posting. We just have to make the time to edit all the things and get them ready for you to enjoy. (I think editing takes more work than writing some days… okay, most days) Plus, the actual posting is time consuming with my job, so I can only get up three full chapters a week.
We can’t wait to see what you all think of Brothers Lost, and of course the future stories from Brothers Found and Brothers Adopted… and whatever other storylines we dream up between now and then!
I’ve got a few other blogs I follow, both Supernatural and gt or both! I don’t think any of them are exactly like mine, but they are enjoyable. (If I could draw my blog might be different, lol)
For blogs where you can find both Supernatural and gt, I recommend @ask-tinycas and @ask-tinysam. Both have some wonderful artwork on their sites, if you look back in time. Due to real life obligations, they tend to be slower blogs, but I know whenever I see a post from either, I get excited! (the tiny Cas blog is Destiel oriented, for any non-shippers, but it is absolutely adorable, so don’t let that put you off from some great artwork and storytelling)
For just gt, check out @borrowedtimeandspace! There’s a good deal of fun Doctor Who gt going on over there. @neonthewrite is another fun gt-oriented blog, and you’ll find prompts that feature characters you’ll recognize from my stories – namely, Jacob, Bowman, Oscar and the gang! And you can send in prompts of your own. Another similar blog, @alittleblogoftrust is also great for gt fun from one of our wonderful editors @creatorofuniverses, along with @neonthebright herself!
For just Supernatural, I highly recommend @asksamstuff. The blog has a ton of great story and artwork on it, and the girl that runs it did the amazing picture of Ilyana and Sam for me!
I can imagine the tiny wendigo outrunning a human, for sure, but I’m not sure if their strength would be enough to be able to take down a full grown person. They can only be so strong, after all, and the average grip strength of a human male is around 60 to 110 pounds of force.
If the canon bros found a tiny wendigo raising hell, they could keep it in a mason jar. It can’t exactly kill a human, so they might as well see what it can do. Dean sneaking it bacon and Sam snipping that bacon isn’t going to do it any good.
It would also be a funny story if a little wendigo got free in a house, everyone climbing their chairs while it tries to tear through everything but just can’t do much at a twentieth of its size.
(I loved those talks of tiny demons, probably one of my fave things!)
Tiny monsters are totally a thing, at least as far as I’m concerned. If any of the little guys like Sam die and hold a grudge, they’ll have the same ability to stick around and haunt. Vampires are great too – since in the Supernatural world, all they need is to drink the blood of a vampire, it isn’t even hard to become one! But then they need to deal with finding blood, and tinies like them are few and far between. They might have to risk a human or two, sneaking around while they’re asleep. The bite marks might be mistaken for mosquito bites in the morning.
The poor wendigos would have all the sad stories, lost and alone and forced to turn to cannibalism (or, eagerly turning to cannibalism, depending on their personality).
We might have a few plans for tiny monsters that we’ve bandied about a few times 😉
It might not be as popular a place to live due to the amount of humans that are in and out on a daily basis, but that is a trade-off for the sheer amount of food they’d be able to find. The kicker is with that many people around, there is no way to risk getting food during the day. All gathering trips would have to wait until no one was around.
Motels are a little easier because it’s less people around, but they also lose out on the amount of food available. It completely depends on the people who stay in the rooms.
Homes are the safest, but care has to be taken since the theft is easier to notice when it’s the same people around day after day.
As for conversions, in BA that will leave you standing 3.4 inches. We are smol. Sam’s scale is 1:19 (according to the calculations I did when I found Dean’s height to be 3.8 inches – one inch is 1.604 feet )
There may be relationships ahead in any of the series. Though I’m not an expert in any way on relationships in general since I’m ace, there are definitely plans in the works. Nothing sexual ever, of course. Neither Sam or Dean are celibate by any means, and I plan on staying as true to the series as possible, of course.
I think they’ve worked in at least some relationships in the last few seasons… though Dean is ruined for women right now and it upsets me to see him so torn.
