October 8th excerpt:

Gently scooping Dean off his shoulder, Stan gave a small smirk and asked, “Where to, Mr. Winchester?” He didn’t want to assume where Dean would prefer to be to start out.

@enby-phoenix replied to your post:

Such a polite bean.

Stan absolutely is! He’s the most polite Brit, and he’ll always offer a cuppa!

But I think this time, calling Dean such a formal name might be somewhat of an inside joke between them, considering how they first met.

Bonus excerpt:

“Mr. Holmes,” the man greeted. Sherlock hummed to himself, noting the distinct lack of an Irish dialect.

The man’s brow shot up when he caught sight of the tiny figure contrasting the deep blue folds of Sherlock’s scarf.

“And… Mr. Winchester?” he guessed at length.

Dean straightened in place, letting the scarf fall down from his shoulders so more of him could be seen. “Mister Winchester is my dad,” he corrected, his voice level and even to avoid betraying any nerves. “You can call me Dean.”

August 7th excerpt:

“She’s gonna get seen! ” Stan hissed, clutching at his hair in distress. His nerves were strung taut and tightened further the longer Arrietty spent in the open, nowhere near cover. All the boy would have to do was glance over, and she’d be noticed.

Sure enough, as Arrietty was getting up to leave, she knocked over an action figure, and it clattered to the floor far below. Stan couldn’t hold on a gasp or keep himself from backing up an inch or two as the human on the screen was alert and after the borrower in his room instantly.

It amuses me every time! Sam and Dean will take good care of the lil nerd!

Bonus excerpt:

Instinctively putting out a hand to reassure Stan, Dean lightly touched the kid’s back, curling his hand around him for a bit of shelter. “Don’t worry, it’s not real,” he reminded him. He didn’t want the movie night to worry the kid into losing hair over it. “I’m sure she’ll figure a way out.”

“Watch!” Sam interrupted, right as the kid slammed a container over the girl’s head.

Stan gave another gasp, scooting closer to Dean’s curled fingers to peek through them. Though he was still highly concerned for Arrietty, Dean’s comforting gesture helped separate him from the movie just enough.

July 15th excerpt:

Sam stumbled to his feet, his neck craned back in an attempt to keep John’s face in sight. He nearly tripped over the edge of the handkerchief Dean was snuggled in, stepping back to look up at John’s immense height.

“You’re tall! ” Sam proclaimed, looking impressed at how high up John’s arms stretched overhead. From down on the nightstand, the giant doctor looked like he could touch the sky.

This is the cutest reaction to a giant I have ever read.

Kiddo Sam is adorable. All that little kid awe in an even tinier package.

Probably the first time in a long time that John Watson had been called tall. Aww factor overload!

Aww is right for sure! Wee Sammy is just about the cutest kiddo there could be, how will John ever survive???

Bonus excerpt:

In an instant, John’s countenance dropped from a strained grimace as he stretched to a look of utter shock. At five foot six, he’d never been described by anyone as notably tall. He’d forgotten for a moment that Sam was barely a few inches high and stood on a surface below the level of his hips. ‘Tall’ seemed like an understatement when John thought of it that way.

John gave a sheepish chuckle, lowering his arms and glancing back at Sam. The kid looked so impossibly small, sending a prickle of nerves up John’s spine. It was an unfamiliar and frankly unpleasant feeling, towering over someone like that. He was amazed Sam wasn’t afraid in the slightest. It helped put him at ease.

“Guess I am,” John conceded with a bemused smile.

@borrowedtimeandspace – I never mind questions about my OCs! Feel free to ask about my brand new boy. Just don’t expect any spoilers!

Stan is in fact gay, and happily engaged to his bisexual fiancee Nathan.

Which is lucky for Dean, because if they were the same size and Stan was single, the elder Winchester might have an energetic redhead crushing on him x3

I mean

Lookit that charm

“Somethin’ on my face?” Dean asked Stan. He briefly reached up to brush at his hair and make sure it was properly spiked.

Sherlock turned his head toward Dean at the question before he realized it wasn’t for him. Side-eyeing Stan, Sherlock went back to staring out the window and waiting out the ride.

For his part, Stan had absolutely no clue how to react to the small man’s witticism. He was choking on a chuckle, uncertain if that would be out of line or offensive. But there was something about Dean’s attitude that Agent Baker took a liking to.

“Would I know if there was?” he replied amiably with a faint smirk. A hint of an Irish accent poked through his words, confirming Sherlock’s silent observation. Second generation, from the sound of it.

( Original post )

He could and it’s great and my god is he turning those powers to driving Sherlock up the wall!

Too bad somehow John gets caught in the middle…

“Well, obviously you two still take issue with the way Sherlock treated you when we all first met,” John pointed out. “Which is totally fair, I’ll admit. But frankly, the way you’ve been dealing with it is driving him mad, and I have to live with him.”
