August 28th excerpt:
“Sam, you comin’?!” Dean called.
“Just a second!”
Dean impatiently waited by the exit, tapping a boot. “If you didn’t have so much hair, this wouldn’t be such a project!” he called again.

(I believe the sneak peek we’re talking about is this one, if anyone missed it)
The story involved is certainly a convoluted one, but fear not! There will be interactions with regular-sized people for our poor smol Dean! There’s just too much material for our poor hunters, so size shenanigans will be happening to them (in multiple AUs…)
Take a peek at this teeny bit from where Dean gets a glance at some of Sam’s normal world!
For a moment, the importance of Jacob opening his car didn’t occur to Dean. Then, he remembered what he had in his pocket and he gave Sam and Jacob a flat look, pulling out his keys.
“Really?” Dean asked as he jingled them. “You… broke… into… my car.”
Sam affected an innocent look. “It’s my car, too!” he said, his hands up in surrender. “I just… got Jacob in using the panic room. And you’re the one that taught me how to hotwire!”
“I didn’t mean hotwire the Impala! ”
July 28th excerpt:
Bobby offered Sam a hand. He was less practiced than Dean, and quickly lowered the younger Winchester down before his nerves with the kid became overly obvious. Sam stepped to the table, only pausing once to see what had changed since the last time he’d been around.
“Is there a case?” Sam asked curiously as he stepped over the newspaper Bobby had left to the side, out of the way of his earlier meal.

Fanart for ‘brothers adopted’
@nightmares06 @brothersapart @neonthewrite
I loved the part in ‘brothers adopted’ where dean and sam reunite and jacob is let free from the vase (poor kid). But it was so funny when sam basically scolded dean for taking jacobs stuff lol.
Heres some fanart for that chapter! Idk if this is exactly what sam said, but i figured its close enough (and besides, i have a bad memory lol).
Oh, you bet!
This is the kind of scene I’ve wanted to do with them for a while, and though it won’t be a short interlude, there will definitely be Sam and Dean at the same scale for a bit, where Sammy can finally show his big bro what it’s really like!
Dean took his time next to the burger, carefully selecting a bit of everything and then haphazardly cramming it all between two pieces of the bun. The size only put him off a little; seeing a burger that rose over his head was unexpected, but he’d spent the last two years watching Sam interact with food like this. He knew the motions to go through with.
Strolling over to Sam’s spot, Dean sat down right next to his little brother (who was currently also the larger brother), and offered a bit of burger he’d put together.
Sam nearly turned it down like normal, but he saw the hopeful look at Dean’s face, and the way the small snack had far more vegetables than grease and bacon. With a small sigh, he took it, dropping his chunk of fruit. “Thanks.”
In an oddly familiar scene, Sam and Dean ate their food side-by-side, the way they were meant to, once upon a time.
May 24th excerpt:
Dean ignored the little squirms in his hand, much like he’d do if he was checking Sam for any broken bones just after a fall. “See?” he said softly to the kid as he worked his way over each rib and brushed against the skinny bare arms. “Nothin’ to it.” He searched those tiny eyes for any signs of pain and found none.
Sam slapped on some grape jelly to his sandwich and but both slices of bread together, eagerly biting down. “Isf hee okayff?” he asked, mouth full.
May 14th excerpt:
To hide his nerves at being so close to a human again, so soon after their grand escape from the others, Dean busied himself making sure Sam was settled, tossing part of the handkerchief over the scrawny kid’s body to keep him from catching a chill in the air. Ever since their curse had struck, those months back, Dean had discovered that the air was colder, and they had trouble staying warm.
Being shipped to London in the fall hadn’t helped, though he’d underestimated the weather earlier that day. They’d assumed they’d have time to find their way to somewhere sheltered by nightfall, and boy were they wrong.
“What now?” Dean asked.
April 27th excerpt:
It was to no one’s surprise that Sam was still hunched over his books when they returned, not only pie but an order of Chinese food in hand. Dean shook his head as he set the huge brown paper bag down on the table, covering up half of Sam’s work.
“Hey!” Sam said, startled out of his train of thought. “I was–”
“Going to take a break,” Dean interrupted, putting the pie down next to the bag. “You ain’t doing us any good if you work yourself into the ground.”
April 15th except:
John stood and approached the desk again, reaching his free hand in the brothers’ direction.
Dean didn’t have time to think through his actions; he just reacted.
The second John’s hand reached towards the two children, Dean tossed himself over Sam, shielding his little brother with his own body. All of a few ounces and three and a half inches large, Dean wasn’t the best protection, but it was all he had to offer his little brother and he’d be dammed if he just let anyone pick up the kid without trying to stop them.
April 12th excerpt:
“Where’d ya find that?” Sam asked, lazily brushing a hand through his ever-lengthening hair, though John usually prevailed upon him to trim it down when it started to get in his eyes. He put off cutting it a little longer each time.
Dean shrugged. “It was right in your bag,” he said, pointing at the backpack slumped down next to the nightstand.
Sam bit his lips. “I thought I lost it weeks ago,” he admitted.
“I just… knew it was there,” Dean said, uncertain now. “I needed it.”
