May 4th excerpt:
Playing along with the tiny kids, Dean moved his hand so it was directly against where his heart was hidden away in his chest. “How’s it sound from here?” He’d be lying if he wasn’t fascinated in the answer.
“Now I can really hear it!” the nestling confirmed. Now that they were closer, the young sprites shifted towards the huge wall that was Dean’s chest, tilting their heads towards it. They were fascinated by the sound, something they had never heard at such a scale before.
The little girl leaned her head against Dean briefly, her eyes widening at how much that amplified the sound of his heart beating away. The whole thing was bigger than the sprites there, possibly all of them together. The girl leaned back to stare straight up at him with a fascinated grin. “I can even feel it! Your heart is so big!”
April 29th excerpt:
Sam was barely visible. Only the top of his head was peeking out of the shirt, balled up in it as he was. Reaching out a hand, Dean carefully brushed Sam’s hair so he could see the peaceful expression on his little brother’s face. Sam shifted at the motion, snuggling deeper into the folds. He never woke up.
Dean smiled at that, and went around to the other side of the bed to get in. He did his best to avoid jarring the pillow across from him, but he had a distinct feeling that if any of them were awake for it, it would be closer to a low scale earthquake, based on the amount the pillow shook.
Sinking into his own pillow, Dean kept his eyes on the flannel shirt close by. He at least knew he didn’t roll around in his sleep, and most days he was an incredibly light sleeper. It would have to be enough.

“C’mon, pint-size.”
Tumblr entry for @brothersapart
This one is much better than that dA one I entered. I’ll stick with my messy sketch-lineart for g/t stuff, looks better xD
Anyways, glad I finished it in time. Lucky to have free class time today since I’m too busy tonight/ tomorrow to work on it. I am a very bad procrastinator xD

April 19th excerpt:
Bowman sighed thoughtfully and then pushed himself to his feet. His sore legs protested and tried to knock him down again, but he made it. His eyes wouldn’t focus on anything in the room for very long, and the sleepy haze over everything only caused more confusion. There were corners everywhere. And big, hulking, unfamiliar things no matter which direction he looked.
“I’ll look after Dean,” he decided, fluttering his wings to fly over the bed and hover just over Dean’s chest. He settled his boots down cautiously, wondering if he’d wake the human. After a few more seconds of a steady rise and fall, he took it as a good sign.
“This human dwelling is strange,” Bowman groused at Jacob while he sat and then lay down on his side. “You and your blasted corners.” That said, he pointedly covered himself with a wing like a protective blanket, hiding the sight of the room from himself.

For the AU, they won’t meet. (At least… they won’t meet yet. There’s always the possibility it will happen in the future.)
But, the good news is you will get to see Oscar and Jacob encounter each other at least once in our AUs, maybe even more than once!
“Okay. You’re okay, I promise,” Jacob continued. He slipped a hand under the guy’s other shoulder and helped him sit up. The little guy let him, but when he looked up and caught a glimpse of Dean again he started to quake. Jacob, acting on impulse, pulled him into a hug so he couldn’t see Dean’s huge face looking down on him. Not until he calmed down. The tactic seemed to help, because the smaller person didn’t try to squirm out of the protective hug.
“H-he’s … he’s so … he’s a human … he’s a human,” the smaller man breathed, talking through his shock.
“Sure is,” Jacob answered. “And he’s not gonna hurt anybody, we all just got a little high strung this morning, that’s all. Everything’s fine, honest.”
Oscar shuddered and worked his hands up to his face. He scrubbed at his eyes, a task made tricky the way his arms were shaking. When he looked up again, he leaned a little to peek timidly around Jacob. Awe and trepidation in his eyes met growing concern. He broke eye contact quickly, unable to hold a lengthy stare with such an intense, giant face.
“I-I didn’t mean to,” he mumbled out. “I was just looking around.” He sat back and Jacob let him, though one of his hands hovered near Oscar’s shoulder for a beat longer before lowering away. Oscar brushed away any lingering tears waiting on his eyes with the heel of his hand. So long as he avoided looking up at Dean’s face, he could try to pick up the pieces of his shattered nerves.

This is the type of thing that all depends on the type of fabric we’re talking about. You can take the kind of shirt I’m wearing and see right through it if you put your eye directly to it. That’s because for the most part girls wear a much thinner fabric than guys do. Now if you look at what the Winchesters wear, you’ll notice that it’s multi-layered shirts that are thick, flannel, dark fabric and the jackets as well will be bulky and stiff comparatively. So Sam might be able to see out of some of Dean’s shirts, but there’s no way he’s going to see out of them constantly.
Unless he feels like cutting himself a hole in the fabric. Then he’ll be seeing regardless.
April 8th excerpt:
Bowman was unable to halt his flight, slamming right into the shadowed shape. He felt his wings go numb as the impact dazed him. Then, he started to fall. A quiet yelp of fear slipped out of his mouth as he twisted in confusion, trying to get his wings to respond and catch him.
A solid surface materialized beneath his fall, and he crashed onto ground that was warm and pliant, the texture sickeningly familiar. There was a surprised sound up above as the giant that had caught him reacted to the impact, and then the surface underneath the sprite moved.
Before the dazed sprite could even try and flutter off of the hand he’d landed on, fingers curled inwards and sealed around his slim body. Each finger was the size of his body, and there was no chance of resisting them as they closed. Even Sam couldn’t fight back against that, and he was far stronger than any sprite in the Wellwood.
April 6th excerpt:
“Dad,” Bowman spoke up before his father could fly far. Gunner glanced at him, schooling his concerned expression into a neutral one. “Be careful, wouldja? This thing seems pretty dangerous.”
Gunner smirked faintly and nodded. “You got it, kid,” he answered before darting away. Bowman rolled his eyes before wandering closer to Jacob. In short order, he’d landed right on the human’s head.
“Comfy?” Jacob asked, amused. A wing, spread wide, slapped down on the top of his head.
