In case you were wondering what little Oscar looks like, wonder no more! The amazing Heartstores has drawn him. This is how Oscar looks as an adult. As you might be able to tell, he’s still not a very tall borrower at all! Living in the motel means sparse findings sometimes, and his lack of a consistently good diet has left him malnourished and stunted his growth. Hopefully Sam and Dean can help kid!Oz out with that in Hershey Kisses and Salt Lines!

Waking Dean

BA Canon: Chances point to yes

Timeline: Future Story

“C’mon Dean,” Sam gritted out, determined. “You need to wake up.” Giving up on the easy way, Sam kicked the cheek he was standing next to. A few more kicks to the cheek and one directed at the nose and he heard a rumbling from Dean as his brother finally started to wake up.

The next part happened too fast for Sam to react.

He’d always known Dean’s reflexes were sharp – after all, Dean had been able to catch Sam without even seeing him the first time they’d met back up not so long ago. A lifetime of hunting dangerous creatures does that to a person.

But he had no idea they were just as sharp asleep.

The second Dean’s eyes slotted open, he moved. The hand that came for Sam was lightning quick, to fast and too big for him to dodge out of the way in time. He had no choice but to curl up into a ball as he was helplessly scooped up off the bed by Dean’s thick fingers. He pulled his arms and legs in as close as he could to his body so they wouldn’t get snapped when the fingers closed tightly around him.

The huge silver ring his brother wore dug uncomfortably into his shoulder the way he was held. Sam tried his best to not squirm, afraid the movement might make Dean tighten the fist around him even more before he was fully awake and found out it was Sam he was holding. He was strong enough to crush Sam by accident if he wasn’t careful.

The whole world flipped around Sam as Dean moved, disorienting him and making his headache beat out a staccato tempo inside his skull. Sam groaned, trying to move enough to free his arm so he could rub his head and hopefully take away some of the pressure. No matter what he did, both his arms remained pinned to his side, held there by Dean’s solid grip. He could feel the hand moving, raising higher into the air as Sam’s stomach clenched with vertigo, unable to see where he was going. You would think he’d be used to this after spending the last few months with Dean, but no. Still nauseating, especially since he couldn’t see where he was being lifted to.

“Sammy?” His brother’s voice, groggy from sleep, filled the air around Sam. “Isat’chu?”

The tight grip around him loosened as Dean finally realized what he had clenched in his fist. Relieved, Sam relaxed from his huddled ball of limbs as the slightly sweaty palm under him tilted, rolling him onto his back so he was facing Dean’s worried face, bare inches away.

“Sam? What the hell are you doing? Are you alright?” A huge finger approached from the side, gently propping Sam up.

Sam rubbed his head, trying to focus his thoughts back from being discombobulated and scrambled. He wrapped an arm around the finger, using it to keep his balance while his head was still spinning.

Noticing this, Dean leaned even closer. “Shit Sam, did I hurt you?”

Sam waved Dean away, unable to meet the magnified worry in the green eyes he was suspended in front of. “I’m fine, just a little shaken.” He rubbed his head again. “Wasn’t really expecting to go for a ride just trying to wake you up.”

I figured I’d put down what I’ve had in mind… so here’s your sequel!

Timeline: After The Schism of Fire and Water

( Part 1 of 4 )

How long had it been?

Dean paced back and forth impatiently, desperate for the son of a bitch to show their face. The cracked earth beneath his boots formed the intersection of two roads off in the countryside.

How long?

How long since Sam had disappeared? How long since Dean had glanced away for one second and lost sight of his brother forever?

He’d failed.

Failure.

The one person in his life he’d never wanted to let down. The one person he’d do anything for.

The person he’d failed when they were kids. The person he’d failed again when they reunited.

You’re a fucking failure. He deserved better and he always did.

The insidious voice whispered in Dean’s mind constantly. Every day he sat at that same table, praying his brother would reappear. How long had it been? Days? Weeks? Months? Considering that Bobby had chased him out of the house, it had to have been a long time.

There’s nothing you can do for him now. He’s gone and you need to accept that.

Had it been a year?

How long would Bobby let Dean stay in his house? The days had blended together. All he did was read, and research, and delve into lore he’d never known existed.

Anything to get his brother back.

Tears pricked at Dean’s eyes as he paced angrily across the crossroads.

“Ain’t you a sight for sore eyes, sugar.”

Pizza and Hexbags is definitely one of my favorite shorts, but I can’t lay claim to the wonderful storyline or bitty Oscar. (Oz is just the cutest) They belong to my good friend @neonthewrite

If you want to see more of him (or any of her other wonderful OCs like Bowman, Jacob, Colfax to name a few…), I’d recommend sending her a prompt, because right now she has them open! She is also running a poll on her deviantart page to see what people want her to write next, so if you are interested in another story featuring bitty Oz, make sure to vote for the ittiest cutie! I know I did :3

Sneak Peek!

Excerpt from Adventures at Bobby’s, arriving officially on October 30th

Heaving a sigh, Dean trudged back up the stairs to the house, intending to find Sam and let him know the good news. They might even be able to head off on the search for their next case as soon as tomorrow. There was a definite bounce in his step at that thought as he came into the kitchen.

“Sam!” Dean called out. He took a few steps in, spotting Bobby at the table buried under research for other hunters. “You seen Sam?”

Bobby frowned up at him as he finished paging through his latest tome. “Last I saw, him an’ Rumsfeld headed out to see you,” Bobby stated pointedly.

Dean felt a bit of worry start to trickle at the back of his mind. They’d come to see him? He’d never even seen Sam outside. “When was that?”

“ ‘Bout an hour ago,” Bobby said. He had to cut himself off as he grabbed a phone, switching to his FBI persona. “Willis, FBI…”

Dean left him on his own, going to search the house. Sam couldn’t have gone far. Neither of them had been outside when he’d finished up, so they must have gone back in with Dean unresponsive. He shook his head ruefully. Had he really been that intent on the car?

The worry started to blossom into an all out fear as his search of the house turned up nothing. “Sam!” he called out, pounding from room to room in one last sweep. There was no way Sam would miss his stomping around up there. There was still no response from brother or dog.

Dean practically flew past Bobby, who was still on the phone arguing with the local authority of some town or the other. He stumbled down the steps, glancing around the yard with a bit of panic starting to show in his expression.

“Sam!” he called out, practically praying at this point to see the dog perk his head up, Sam snickering nearby at Dean’s disquiet.

But there was nothing.

Dean expanded his search. He weaved his way around all of the junked cars that were piled up in the area. All he could see was the dangers out there for Sam. A car could shift position and crush the small hunter and he’d never find him… a hawk could dive down… raccoons could slip in from the fields…

SAM!

He might not play out in the snow for hours on end, but there’s no reason he’d be unable to go out and enjoy it. After all, even small animals live out in the cold. Sam could even make himself a little igloo if he needed to find shelter for a night, with snow being a natural insulator. An hour or two out with big brother and he might be cold, but he probably wouldn’t even notice most of the time. The same way we don’t notice when we’re having fun how cold we are.

In the winter months, Sam will stick a lot closer to Dean than normal. His jacket’s very thin compared to anything Dean owns, so it doesn’t keep him warm. Not to mention, being so small, he doesn’t hold much body heat. So it’s a lot of time spent in the chest pocket. The side pockets don’t do any good keeping him warm unless Dean has his hands in them, and then it can be claustrophobic because Dean takes up all the room.

This doesn’t stop Sam from having fun in the snow. He always wanted to build his own snowman. He just has to watch out if he throws any snowballs at Dean. Dean might throw his own back. (And then have to dig Sam out from under all the snow)

Plus, sledding is awesome when you’re four inches tall. A pile of snow half Dean’s size makes a huge hill, and if he can convince Dean to help, he doesn’t have to trudge all the way back up.

I’m here!

Just wanted to let y’all know, I’m still here. I got back from the convention on Monday, and had a wonderful time. I’ve been working on a few extensive side projects that I have slated for next year, and recovering from the convention. Oh, and watching all of season 10 to prepare for the premier of season 11 next week.

In that thought, I’m reopening asks, but not prompts. I currently have many prompts saved up, but only a little time to work on them. So, any prompts that are received until they are officially reopened, will be ignored. Thanks for everyone’s support!

nightmares06:

Omg. You have no idea how happy I was that they liked the idea of “Honey we shrunk the Impala.”

Fun fact is I had no idea what Jensen was doing. Jared got the tiny Impala and was having so much fun with it so I didn’t even realize the other Impala was in front of me. So glad they both had fun with it, now that I can see Jensen.

And I’m all omg I can’t believe I’m here *fangirls*
