It is a tough one to figure out, isn’t it? So far no sign of those Winchesters, so it’s tough to say which set of them might be out there. Whichever it is, I think we can all agree that they need to get on the task of rescuing the poor little guy!
Rolling his shoulders, he closed his eyes and focused.
Sometimes, it was harder than it should be. He’d spent so long on the mortal plane that actually using his wings was a rusty skill that needed a good oiling.
Like today.
A little jump was all it would take, and he could go and see what was going on. Find some new friends to mess around with. It was all good-natured fun, more than Michael had ever seen. Lucy was always more fun to play games with, but these days he was more of a stick-in-the-mud than Michael ever had been. He could only hope that his older brother stayed stuck, keep them from ripping each other’s throats out like they hoped.
A flex of muscles he hadn’t used in years, and Gabriel was in flight.
Teleportation, the angelic kind, was always such a brief sensation. But when he opened up his senses, and felt the aether around him, he could see so much more than when he was simply human.
A brief tingle came, and he turned his attention to one corner of a forgettable Midwestern state in the US of A. Two brothers, and they didn’t fit the regular pattern at all.
Gabriel smiled, and let himself land not far from where one of their friends was. He flickered into view and was spotted by an aging gentleman, a simple problem solved by a wave of his hand as the man was persuaded to ‘forget’ he’d ever been there.
It was time for a little game with these brothers’ and their friends.
But for now, we’ll be keeping this one under wraps 😉 It’ll be an interesting one when we get this far into the AU… Dean went through quite a lot when he insisted on running off on his own… dammit, Dean!
Oh, you are so, so close. So close. But not quite there.
Jacob, at the time of Sam getting cursed, would be five years old. Just a wee little five-year-old.
Hint: Take away one of these characters and change the size of one of the others and we should just about be there. Anyone got it? Send it in! Maybe this weekend will end with the sneak peek!
It is a crossover with @neonthewrite‘s series, Fairy Tales, but it is not an official crossover yet because she has not published yet. She does intend to send the story in the future to a publishing house, so we all can cross our fingers that these bbys will become their own lovely book series! I’ll even cross my toes.
Currently, it does not. This doesn’t mean he won’t necessarily make an appearance down the line, especially since he is such a beloved character, but he won’t be in it from the start.
Oscar is seriously feeling the love and blushing bright red, the shy little guy. Careful, don’t want to scare him back into hiding! ❤
It is not. The curse remains the same from Celeste. It is the circumstances that change. Just like how in Brothers Together Dean found his little brother before being chased from the room, something changes in this story to make it a completely unique storyline.
Nope, Sam does not become a sprite. And technically, Sam doesn’t ‘turn into’ anything in the story. He is merely cursed to shrink. Any other effects that hit him, such as his knack, are all side-effects of the spell, and if he ever complains that he’s not human, that’s just his own fears coming to light – see here.
