He finally noticed that Sam was tugging at his sleeve. The younger boy was looking up at Dean, his expressive eyes full of worry. “What?” Dean said, his tone sharp with the lingering exhaustion from the night before combined with the stress of waking up with Sam and John both missing from the bedroom.
“There’s bacon,” Sam said simply, pulling Dean’s sleeve in the direction of the food. “John made it. It’s good!” He tugged harder at Dean’s arm. “Please?”
Dean was actually fully versed in the weapons he used when he was cursed at 14. He’s trained to use a shotgun since he was very young, with the help of Bobby and his father, and he’s kept a knife by his side the entire time, whether it was his silver knife or a regular hunting knife.
Sam could offer, but chances are that they’re pretty even. Dean would be tempted to challenge him to see who’s moves are better, though that’s a difficult contest when Dean could stand on Sam’s knife!
Jacob is the eternal little brother of these two, they’ll both be willing to give him some help perfecting his moves.
Lol! I’m sure he’d get a kick out of what happened to Sam and Dean in that story! Alas, he was elsewhere, making mayhem while Sam and Dean dealt with a giant in their backyard

My first thought was Sam doing something by accident that annoys dean and out of spite he starts a prank war (most likely dying Sams hair pink or the like)
Ah, man, if the prank wars start up again with Dean the smol, it’s all over. Jacob is in the middle of an all-out war, brother against brother!

Dean’s always had his problems with being suspicious. I think if Sam does it right, he’ll be able to worm his way right through any chink in Dean’s armor, and in the BA stories, Dean has plenty of chinks. Poor scarred bby, separated from his little brother so long ago.
