Sam would most likely spend his time at the size he’s used to. It’s been a very long time since he was human, and his knack aside, it’s jarring to be out and about with humans around. Dean or their close friends are one thing, but now he’ll be facing people that might be just like the Mangas family. There’s no way to know.

Dean would be thrilled, and now they’ve got an even better secret weapon. Sam can slip through the walls and get into places no human can go, and now he can switch back to full-size if he’s in trouble!

I actually used to try and keep a running word count of the chapters we’d write, but I since had to give up on it because we just have too many chapters to keep up with. Add that to the fact that every time we edit a chapter, the word count changes so I had to flop and give up. Tooooo much.

Luckily, as for what we’ve already got posted, Archive of Our Own is a wonderful website to post your stories. It keeps a running count of everything you post! So I know how much I have posted between all my different stories, and once chapters are posted it gets added to the total.

That is just some crazy number of words, and I wouldn’t be surprised if what we have saved and waiting to be edited can come close to rivaling it. The horror story is our longest story we’ve written (which is why it takes so damn long to finish editing), and is at least 220k words by itself, based on my last count before I gave up.

This has to be the best episode for this XD

Can you see Sam’s face when the door opens and in strolls his older brother, predictable knock and all to announce he’s there, only there’s a kid, and god he looks so familiar and then Sam realizes it’s the Dean he remembers from right when he got cursed…

So much to take in all at once.

Dean seems so small, even though he still towers over Sam. His hands are much thinner, and his fingers shorter. He has to pull the bench seat of the Impala so far up that Sam can see his little metal hideout peeking out if he peers off the back of the seat. 

And Sam looks bigger to Dean because even though Sam hasn’t changed, Dean’s gotten a lot shorter himself. Scrawny kiddo wearing oversized clothes, they better get him back to normal soon!

After all, who else can buy the beer?

It feels so good to hear this!

Like, I’m really excited for the poll and I can’t wait for it to start. It’s one of my favorite things to do. We’ve been hard at work trying to get all the second stories in each AU are ready to go as well for afterwards when we start adding those to it. And charting out the new storylines we keep coming up with (we can never stop!  XD ).

You made my day after all that negativity.

We decided to leave it as a blind poll to avoid one of the AUs being chosen over the others. We know a lot of you are excited out there for Brothers Adopted or Brothers Found, and we don’t want anyone to feel left out by only one of those AUs being voted in! During the next poll we’ll also add in two more stories we’ve finished editing, to toss things up a little.

And remember, just because you think a story is a part of a certain AU doesn’t mean it’s going to be the story you were hoping for! Careful in your guesses!

We’re looking forward to it just as much! (Sam and Dean must find their way back to each other, they must!)

I was actually working on editing a Brothers Adopted story just the other day so it’s ready to go for everyone ❤ The first story of Brothers Lost, The Road Not Taken, will be wrapping up on July 14th, which means this weekend it’s time – For another poll! I’ll cross my fingers for you, Jacob and Sam are the cutest cursed bros around, and they’re raring to go.

Nope, this Jacob is completely free of any knowledge of sprites. Which is a little unfortunate regarding his initial reactions to everything, considering a Jacob who already knew how to deal with such little people might be able to handle things better. As it is, you can count on Jacob being quite flustered with the whole thing!

Bowman, if he saw a giant that big, one that towered over even the trees, might just work himself into a little bitty heart attack. Jacob’s boots are bigger than the village, how dare he! He must not wander close to the village, at all.

Of course, Jacob wouldn’t be able to see or hear him and a sigh would blow the little sprite away … Dean better keep him safe in a pocket.

We’re glad you’re loving it! 

Can’t say for sure when it’s coming, though. It’s in the process of being written, and it’ll be a decently long fic from what we can tell so far. Lots of fun, for sure. Once it’s done, we’ll work it into our editing schedule and then watch out! It could appear in the poll at any time :3
