( This fell into @nightmares06‘s inbox, but just fyi Oscar belongs solely to @neonthewrite. As for the rest, I’m so glad you like my stories so much! I have to admit, I was pulled into Supernatural the same way, by an amazing fic that I couldn’t get enough of. We’ve got plenty more in store for you! )

@neonthewrite –

Oscar doesn’t actually have a last name. If his mom had one, she never got around to telling him before she vanished. We call him Oscar the OC, because in the earliest writing process I hadn’t picked a name for him yet. He was “OC” in all my notes, and fill in a few letters, you get Oscar!

As for appearance, Oscar has brown eyes and poofy, mousey brown hair. He’s super skinny and petite, reaching only three and a quarter inches in adulthood! He’s one of my wee-est characters.

Everyone wants to boop Oz.

Aww, you are so sweet! We’re glad you’re having such fun!

Truthfully… if there’s an update for a fic I read when I wake up in the morning, I usually can’t resist doing the same. I just need to read it as fast as possible, and it brightens up the morning. I’m glad our stories do the same for you!

We hope to never stop ^-^ So many plans, so little time. You made our night.

One would hope that they get coffee if they’re going to be road tripping with Jacob to find their father! (Along with breakfast. Feed them, Jake. They haven’t eaten well in years.)

Sam would try the coffee, wrinkle his nose and dump cream and sugar into it until it almost doesn’t taste like coffee. Dean would scoff at this, drink it black and call it the nectar of the gods, and give Jacob The Look. Don’t you fuckin’ dare put me back in that coffee pot ever again

Jacob drives a 1997 Mercury Cougar! That year they had a special 30 year anniversary edition, and that’s what Jacob drives.

Interestingly enough, this car is only a little bit smaller than the Impala, and with the right care, can be almost as powerful in the engine.

Another fun fact, this was the year and model of my first car. I called mine Tony Stark, and once someone followed me into a restaurant to ask if I was willing to sell it to them.

You haven’t missed any sneak peeks or excerpts! For the horror story, we’re avoiding any of the actual horror parts in any of the peeks, and the story was written before we started the daily excerpts.

…Though we do have commissions that are based on just vague ideas or plans we have, one of this detail would be based on the actual story.

Sam’s knack will actually only work on humans – and it won’t work on any human that got cursed by Celeste! So he can’t tell if Dean is looking at him in Brothers Lost, which is a good thing because it also means that Dean can’t screw it up by glancing over at him.

If a human shrinks down by another method, he will still be able to tell if they are watching. It is only humans cursed by the method Celeste uses that are an exception to this rule.

Truthfully, I came up with the ability during Taken. So yes, he does have it, but it didn’t start to show up until then. It’ll be more prominent in the other AUs earlier, but you can see it from Taken and on. In fact in Adventures at Bobby’s, Sam discovers that Dean does not set off his danger sense at all. He can tell that Dean is looking, but he can also tell that the gaze on him is safe.

It would most likely be in the BL verse. BA is very planned out, with a specific storyline that the stories are following. BL is a budding AU, with ideas being bounced around for all kinds of cases, and other crossovers even.

XD Who knows. I’m sure the Deans would be coming up with nicknames for everyone and each other.

Our writing process? Let’s see…

First off, we spend a lot of time talking about different scenarios between the characters. It’s mostly spitballing ideas or coming up with cool ideas for monsters at the time, but a lot of the ideas stick and then start to grow.

Once we find something that sounds like a good story, we play around with different ideas for it, acting out little scenes and switching things up (and occasionally going I have an idea, and if you ever hear that it’s usually a sign for angst).

Though at the beginning of when we started writing these AUs it was just for fun, we now have a distinct plan and list of story ideas. Once we finish one, there’s always another story just begging to be written, which is how we keep our momentum going. It’s very important to not lose momentum.

Editing tends to take the longest, which is why despite the fact that we have a good amount of stories finished, not many are ready for posting. We are slowly working through editing and getting the stories beta read.

What we’ve found is our characters have great chemistry together, so we can throw them together and think something’s going to happen, then discover the characters just go and do their own thing anyway. (Dean and Jacob//Dean and Bowman are good examples. It’s almost impossible to know what’s going to happen with these pairs)

90% of our stories come from one of us going I have an idea and the other one going Oh no.

Something along the lines of …

(Note: the sizing in the Dean pic is off from the horror story scale)

Those two brothers would be so overprotective of their downsized giant, they probably wouldn’t let him touch the ground. He might end up spending a lot of time being toted around in Dean’s duffel bag.

They would have to call someone up for help though. Jacob’s the driver, how can they research this without their driver?!

All wonderful art by @mogadeer

Poor everyone in this horror story! I think the only person to get off light would be…

Oh, wait. That would be telling. I’ll be good and try and keep the spoilers down. We await this story being voted in with excitement!

VoraciousPanda is an amazing artist and their style was just perfect for the picture. Give them some love for their great work and we hope to commission them again soon!
