Legend of the Nix:

The magic of a water sprite is at its strongest within the pure freshwater streams. Because of this, in ancient times when a person who was dying sought healing summoned a sprite, legends began to circulate.

Nixie and her sisters must drown the victim, in order to heal them. This reflected poorly on the sprites, and their summoning began to happen rarer and rarer, until even the technique of summoning was lost. The legend of the Nix and Nixe spread, inspired by Nixie’s name. Nixie was one of the sprites that answered the call most often, helping where she could, at least until people grew afraid of her magic. It was this fear that caused the summoning of the sprites to cease and stories spread of men being dragged into the depths, never to be seen again.

For this one, if Dean popped out of the room, they’d be fine. John isn’t about to start grabbing the people that his son just saved, and he already knew about the small people like Sam. So they wouldn’t be in any danger. He might be an ass, but he’s not going to hurt them.

Not yet. Not because he won’t or doesn’t want to, but after spending thirteen years apart, it took them a while to get used to each other. Dean was afraid something like that would push his brother away. Right when they were finally getting used to each other, Taken happened, and so a long time was spent recovering.

Of course, now things are going back to normal and anything’s possible…

Sam probably wouldn’t have much of a problem. He’s big enough that Dean would hear him if he shouts, and one hand can scoop him back up. If he ever did temporarily get lost, Sam would need to find his way to an abandoned cell phone or hijack a house phone and give Dean a call.

Oh, thank you so much. It means the world to me to hear that you enjoy my writing ;w; especially considering how much I put into it.

Though it has taken a while to find my niche in writing. If I ever read over my first spn-gt story that I wrote over a year ago, I get the urge to shred it and rewrite it from the bottom up ( Reversal of Fate, if you haven’t seen it ). All I’ve done is find inspiration and keep writing. And never stop. If you ever start writing, remember to eat. It reminds me of the days I’d be stuck on games like WOW. Foods just weren’t as important.

It’s not that Dean would get jealous. He understands that Sam almost never gets to feel normal. It’s so hard to spend your entire life having to hide from all but a select few.

Dean would get antsy. He hates having Sam out of sight. It just reminds him of all the times bad things have happened to his brother when he’s not around. The events of Taken, Sam alone in the motel room in Shadows and Reflections, not to mention getting jumped by Ilyana that first meeting with the fire sprites. So Dean is very on edge when Sam’s out and about. In fact, that’s what lands him at the bars some nights. It’s easier to go out and grab a drink or a bite instead of sitting around watching TV, wondering if Sam’s going to come back.
