From this list of not-so-nice OC Questions. I’m still taking these if you’re curious about my OC’s deep dark secrets!
36. Are they in control of their emotions, or are their emotions in control of them?
He’s in control of his emotions. He’s a very down-to-earth person, and is very open with his feelings, but he is also in a good mental place and his emotions hardly ever get the better of him.

44. What’s one thing they wish they could do more often, but can’t?
Stan would love a vacation. As much as he loves his work, it’s a near-constant cycle of near-death experiences. If he could take a few weeks off and go abroad with Nathan, they would have the time of their lives. Backpacking in Peru, hitting up one of the Disney parks, maybe even visit Hobbiton in New Zealand. Some time to relax is hardly ever an option for him, alas.

12. Have they ever done something illegal? What was it?
Seeing as she’s a borrower, human rules and laws don’t really apply to her. If they did, she’d be six feet deep in minor counts of theft.
32. Do they have a bad relationship with their parents?
Yes. She and her mother had a terrible relationship.
37. Have they ever had their freedom taken away?
She’s been trapped at least a couple of times in her life, and in one AU she was caged and experimented on. No fun.

5. List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.
Here we go.
Surface level: Not in a jump-on-a-chair-in-fright way, but he doesn’t much care for spiders. Too many legs and eyeballs.
Repressed: he fears bringing danger to his loved ones. Nate teases him about being paranoid, but it’s derived from the real risks that come with Stan’s job. He tries to keep it under control, but he takes any precaution he sees necessary to protect Nathan, even wearing his engagement ring on a chain so bad guys don’t notice it and realize he has a loved one to exploit.
Deep dark: In a similar vein, Stan is terrified of letting people down and failing to protect them. For the most part, his confidence in his abilities keeps him from worrying about this too often, but he would fall into a dark place if this fear was ever realized.
28. Is there a certain type of person that disgusts them?
People who show complete disregard for other people’s lives disgust him.
38. Have they ever been imprisoned?
Human Stan has never been to prison or imprisoned. The same cannot be said about borrower Stan.

Finished commission for @nightmares06!! Must be a good sammich.
I’m so sorry it took so long, thank you so much for being so patient. If there’s anything you’d like fixed, let me know!
Heyo! I may have been the deleted anon (XD). My ask was basically just telling you this blog is awesome and I am astounded by the whole universe you have created here! Also a quick question. You’re story about Smol Stan (aol?), I wanted to know hen you will be posting it. Thank you for all your write!
Aww, thanks so much! It’s really been a ton of fun creating and building up the universe we have rolling over here.
Sorry about the mix up with the asks, it happens to the best of us.
We’re not sure quite when the story will be posting, we still have to edit the first one, and then we let everyone vote in the stories to keep things fresh!
Stan has certainly graduated from brief side character to full fledged main character in the stories, much like Jacob, so expect to see him cropping up often! He and Dean have some of the most entertaining parts together in BC, and Sherlock’s been a bit of pout at how the little red wolf snuck his way in.
You can find questions like this in our FAQ (mobile-friendly version), and be sure to send in anything that you still want clarified afterwards!
Direct from the FAQ:
When does (insert story) start posting?
We’re not sure when each story goes up, we only have a timeline for the days stuff will post. To prevent any stories from gaining favoritism over others, we started running a poll. During the last week or two of a story, there will be a poll with (2) to (6) options offered, and the winner will be the story that starts next!
Keep in mind that the stories that appear in the poll will be fully written/edited and beta’d by our wonderful beta readers, any stories that are incomplete in any fashion will not be included.
The poll is run through SurveyMonkey, and each person gets only (1) vote! Duplicate votes WILL BE REMOVED.
February 25th excerpt:
As Dean settled in, Stan was tempted to simply find himself a seat and stay where he was put like he always did. But another part of him heard a call in the open space of the car, particularly in the dim chasm into which Dean’s legs vanished over the edge of the seat. Stan’s knowledge of cars was extremely limited, but he got the impression from watching Dean drive a few times that something down there helped him operate the immense machine. And anyway, Dean had encouraged Stan to ‘check the place out’…
Curiosity won out in the end, and so with tentative steps, Stan wandered toward the end of the bench, craning his neck to peer into the space. He wasn’t sure what he expected to find down there, but the dark unknown taunted something in the back of Stan’s mind, something he usually ignored.
February 24th excerpt:
Stan wandered a few steps closer to a partially folded map, intrigued by the intertwining lines, dots, and words. None of it made sense to him, but he stared anyway trying to figure it out. He thoughtfully traced one of the thicker, bolded lines with the tip of his shoe, following its path.
Maybe that’s what it was, Stan thought with a tilt of his head. A path. A road, somehow.
February 23rd excerpt:
Just like with Sam’s pocket, Stan became all too aware of the human he was riding. The push of a pulse through thick skin as Stan’s shoulder leaned instinctively against the semi-solid surface, hearing each breath in and out of the giant and feeling the slight rise and fall of his shoulders in time with them.
The main difference, however, was that he could see. Rather than being shut up in the dark, Stan could see almost everything Dean could. Probably more, he mused as he whipped his head around to get a load of the rest of the motel room from the height of a seated human. He wasn’t even up that high, and yet he could see how all those massive structures the humans used as furniture looked to them. Smaller, manageable, and befitting someone that size.
February 22nd excerpt:
Stan let out a hard breath and jumped forward before he could think too much about it.
The worn soles of Stan’s trainers nearly slipped on the incline toward Dean’s collarbone, but he pushed past it, using Dean’s shirt for traction as he all but shoved himself between Dean’s neck and the collar.
February 19th excerpt:
Stan’s brow jumped and he froze in place. Without Dean awake to distract him from his position, he felt his ears heat up as he glanced around the wide chest that made up his seat.
“Er… Sam? Dean fell asleep,” he called during a quiet moment in the show, reluctant to raise his voice so close to Dean and his not-quite-restful hand. He didn’t feel unsafe there, but he was certainly ready to be anywhere else.
Somewhere that didn’t turn him red in a confused blush.
February 17th excerpt:
The perfect place occurred to Dean at last, and he deposited Stan dead center on his chest, relaxing down into the pillow with a sigh. “Now, for some real TV,” he declared.
Stan propped himself up on his hands in attempt to right himself on the uneven ground that he belatedly realized was Dean’s chest, and he yanked those hands off of the soft shirt with a small gasp when the human spoke with Stan on him. Unlike when Stan was in Sam’s pocket, the rumbling of Dean’s voice shook him from below, which made for a slightly more intense sensation throughout Stan’s entire body.
Aside from that, the borrower found himself surrounded on all sides by the rising and falling landscape of Dean’s chest and torso. The same muscular plane that Stan had less than a day ago been admiring from afar, aspiring towards and even finding objectively handsome. Stan could feel his face heating up and quickly turned to face the TV, hoping Dean wouldn’t notice his flustered blush.
