Back in the time that this fic takes place, Sam is only 10 and Dean is 14. This means Dean stands only 5′6″ tall as opposed to his 6′1″ adult self, and Sam has been downsized to 2.6 inches verses his adult 4 inches. (Also known as 4′2″ and 6′4″)
