All I have to say on this subject is that everyone has to make their own decisions about their relationships, and it’s unhealthy for Sam and Dean to not even try.

Relationships aren’t the end, in life or in stories. They’re just a different kind of beginning, and I don’t see the brothers ever giving up on hunting. In my story or on the TV show.

May 29th excerpt:

Sam shook his head, latching onto the question to distract himself from the vast expanse around them. Normally, if they were to spend any time away from the walls or cover, Jacob would be around. Even then, they only did it in extreme circumstances.

Out in the open was danger.

Even with Jade’s confidence, the hairs on the back of Sam’s neck rose with nerves, and he knew Dean was feeling the same, based on the way Dean’s shoulders bunched up slightly. Sam gratefully focused on what he knew of spirits. “Mostly, the spirits that stick around in our world are here for a reason. Something that holds them back, or if they refuse to move on. They lash out, a lot of times continuing the same patterns they used to follow in life. Plus, most of the vengeful spirits we’ve heard of from the books or our dad work alone. So we don’t have much experience with multiple spirits together.”

I’ve got a few other blogs I follow, both Supernatural and gt or both! I don’t think any of them are exactly like mine, but they are enjoyable. (If I could draw my blog might be different, lol)

For blogs where you can find both Supernatural and gt, I recommend @ask-tinycas and @ask-tinysam. Both have some wonderful artwork on their sites, if you look back in time. Due to real life obligations, they tend to be slower blogs, but I know whenever I see a post from either, I get excited! (the tiny Cas blog is Destiel oriented, for any non-shippers, but it is absolutely adorable, so don’t let that put you off from some great artwork and storytelling)

For just gt, check out @borrowedtimeandspace! There’s a good deal of fun Doctor Who gt going on over there. @neonthewrite is another fun gt-oriented blog, and you’ll find prompts that feature characters you’ll recognize from my stories – namely, Jacob, Bowman, Oscar and the gang! And you can send in prompts of your own. Another similar blog, @alittleblogoftrust is also great for gt fun from one of our wonderful editors @creatorofuniverses, along with @neonthebright herself!

For just Supernatural, I highly recommend @asksamstuff. The blog has a ton of great story and artwork on it, and the girl that runs it did the amazing picture of Ilyana and Sam for me!

That little idea was created around the time this blog began, so things have changed, but I think one part has remained the same.

This gives two options. Sam can choose a pocket, or a shoulder. If Sam was to go for the pocket, he can’t see what’s going on and he can’t help Dean out if they find trouble. I think the Sam we have in our stories isn’t about to let Dean be the only one who’s going to take risks. Small or not, he’s going to insist that he be the lookout. After all, he can tell when people are looking at him, right?! So why should he leave Dean to fall into a trap?

Sam will make sure to keep that brother of his out of trouble, no matter who’s around. He’s not about to sit this out in a pocket. 🙂

Original post.

If it hit Sam… Dean would find a tiny, tiny puppy in his pocket. Those little hazel eyes looking up at him, pleading for him to fix it and make it all better. He would be nothing but determination if that happened to Sam.

I wouldn’t mind a story like this myself, but I don’t write animal fics. If anyone is up to writing it, feel free! Send us a link so we can all check it out 😀

First post (x)

Welcome to the family! It’s so great to hear from a new reader! *hugs*

Really, I’ve loved stories like this since I was a wee kiddo. The Borrowers, Thumbelina, Tom Thumb and anything like them were some of my favorite movies and it was always a laugh if anyone got shrunk in an episode of a TV show. I’ve kept that love with me for ages, and after I discovered Supernatural, I decided to just go with it!

After that, the story just took on a life of its own and I don’t know if we can ever stop…

Plenty, plenty more fun on the way!

May 10th excerpt:

After spending so long either held in a hand or tucked away in a pocket, the solid ground beneath Sam’s tiny boots felt so strange. He knew that it might look like the counter was a solid surface, but in reality there was open air beneath it, where the basin of the sink could be seen and the bathroom trash was tucked under. The room he and Dean had stayed in while their dad hunted was almost identical, aside from the beds and bathroom on the reverse side of the wall like it was a mirror image.

Sam gave his arms one last stretch before gathering up his satchel again. “See you bright and early, or whenever you flop out of bed,” he said to Bowman before turning away.

Dean’s body stretched overhead, even flat on his back, so Sam grabbed fistfulls of Dean’s shirt, hauling himself up the hunter. The black flannel shirt Dean was still wearing had a comfortable pocket, the perfect size for Sam to use as a sleeping bag. He’d never tell Dean this, but he sometimes preferred sleeping in there. After a lifetime of being raised to fear humans and after being captured and almost sold off by humans not so ago, sleeping on Dean, Sam’s only real source of safety in world, comforted him.

Nowhere else existed where Sam could guarantee his safety like that. Dean’s rhythmic breathing and the gentle thudding of his heart underneath his body helped soothe him as well.

Once he’d climbed up, Sam walked briskly over, lifting up the pocket flap. Dean rumbled in his sleep as Sam slipped in, getting comfortable. The ground vibrated under him reassuringly.

Dean must have felt Sam climbing his side, because the hand Sam had been sitting on moments ago rose up, stretching protectively over the pocket and Sam. “G’night Sammy,” Dean mumbled before he slipped into sleep again.

Sam smiled. “ ‘Night Dean,” he called up as well, settling comfortably under the shadow of the huge hand. Dean’s thumb rubbed gently up his side once before going slack.
