It sounds like an adorable idea, but I don’t write any de aged fics. If anyone wants to try, feel more than welcome to, and be sure to share with us! I’ll just stick with my young Sam in Brothers Together and Brothers Asunder.

( This fell into my personal box but I’ll post it to both sites)
You’ve discovered my baby! Evelina does not yet have a story of her own (aside from what’s in my head). She is the character I plan on writing about when I write a book of my own. I’ve developed her my entire life, and am finally fine tuning the character design / background. Nothing is set in stone for her yet, though I am trying her out in a story with @bittykimmy to see how her personality flows.
One day, I hope to publish her story…

March 28th excerpt:
A stirring of attention in the living wood around him warned Cerul long before he felt the frantic urgency of the sprite running towards his rooms. He was already facing the door when they burst in. Their breathless surprise ached in Cerul’s own chest, so he was patient as he waited for their explanation.
“Sir,” they greeted before taking a few more heavy breaths. “Leafwing and Winchester just came back from a patrol. They found a giant.”

( In reference to this post )
#19: “How tall would you say you are now?” With Bowman Leafwing and Jacob Andris of Bowman of Wellwood.
Sounds like those dorks, alright. It’s something of a running joke with me that Bowman finds Jacob’s height excessive (and really, who needs to be that tall anyway?).
Enjoy!
Jacob watched Bowman wheel around in the air, brushing past new leaves and looping in tight spirals around branches. Seeing how easy he made it look and how casually happy Bowman’s face was brought Jacob a smile of his own. He’d barely known the little wood sprite for six months, but it hadn’t taken long for Bowman to show off his skills.
Jacob might tease him a lot, but in the end he was impressed. Bowman flew through the air like a fish swims through water.
“You’re falling behind, giant!” Bowman crowed from the canopy. He darted ahead, flew back towards Jacob, and then turned forward again. Jacob kept his usual walking pace, a calm contrast to Bowman’s speedy turns.
“I’m not a giant,” Jacob mock complained. “Just ‘cause I’m taller than you.” Bowman snickered and landed lightly on a branch above Jacob’s eye level. When Jacob caught up, he reached up and whipped the branch with his palm.
Bowman fluttered off with an aggravated scoff. “Hey! Giant! Don’t do that!” he groused.
“Don’t land right in my way,” Jacob shot back with a grin.
Bowman groaned, before dropping to bank in a close circle around Jacob’s head. Jacob had to stop walking to avoid a sprite smacking into his head, and Bowman snickered. “This is right in your way. That branch wasn’t, you’re just so blasted tall.”
“You got me. I’ve been getting taller in the last few months,” Jacob admitted with a sigh.
That made Bowman falter. He did an incredulous double take before swooping up to land on Jacob’s head. The light sensation of tiny boots always surprised him, but Jacob had learned not to wave the sprite off if he didn’t want to be scolded for five minutes straight.
“You’ve been growing?! What in the world for?”
“It’s not like I control it,” Jacob chuckled.
“How tall would you say you are now?”
“Hmm … about six foot four, I think. I dunno.” Jacob almost shrugged, but he had to wonder if that’d upset Bowman’s perch on his head.
Bowman paused. Then, he blurted. “That’s seventy six inches tall! How tall were you when you first showed up here?!”
Jacob saw the question coming. He glanced straight up, but couldn’t see the tiny person standing up on his head. He had a feeling he knew the reaction to come. “About six foot even, so I grew like four inches.”
“What?!”
Predictably, Bowman’s light weight nearly stumbled right off the top of Jacob’s head. His wings fluttered and soon he was flying along at Jacob’s eye level.
“Are you serious?” Bowman asked, stuck between awe and irritation. It was an expression that Jacob had come to recognize in his few visits since the previous summer.
“Yup. Very,” Jacob answered with an amused grin.
“That’s how tall I am! You grew an extra Bowman height – which you didn’t need, by the way – in a couple seasons!”
“It’s true. I’m sneaky like that,” Jacob quipped, laughing at the flat look Bowman gave him.
“It’s the only sneaky thing about you, giant,” he remarked, before banking up towards the canopy once more, while Jacob continued to crash through the foliage below.

Well… I can’t really promise there won’t be any major character deaths.
And crying. There will be crying because I have been crying at some parts. Also, writing the horror story actually gave me and @neonthewrite nightmares. So there’s that, too.
I actually lived up to my nightmares name at last.
Mallory, one of my favorite characters to write, died off in the first story. I was happy to be able to bring her back in AU fics, but then we went and made her cry, too, so now I feel guilty all over again.

Mallory sat herself on the foam of the bed she shared with Walt. The warmth of the blankets she’d lovingly crafted for her family couldn’t touch the shard of ice that had lodged in her heart.
As her tall boys fought, ignoring the threat of any humans nearby hearing them, she sat there and cried and watched her family fracture.

Nothing’s ever out of the question. I’m sure Sam would suggest it to them at some point. The borrowers in the walls have a lot of trust issues with humans, though, so getting all of them to come with Dean would be the hard part.
Offering them a life where they could live without relying on humans would be a wonderful thing. Much safer than a motel.
March 27th excerpt:
“I’m not a flowerkin! Flowerkin are thin, dainty wood sprites,” Bowman protested. He saw Jacob glance over at Sam, and then fleetingly at himself. Both humans had far bulkier frames than Bowman did, even proportionally. It just wasn’t fair, and it certainly wasn’t helping Bowman’s argument.
He pointed up at Jacob’s smirking face. “Don’t think I won’t bop you,” he warned.
Sam had to work to hide his own smirk. “Don’t worry,” he cooed to the sprite, “we won’t judge your girlish figure.”

Oh my, I think you just made my day, ha! This was wonderful to get!
I never would have thought of watching Supernatural without reading other Supernatural gt stories, so I’m glad to return the favor! I watched an episode when I discovered I really liked those two characters, and I really just wanted to know what they sounded like (I couldn’t go too far without stumbling over pictures of them).
The rest is history.
I’m so glad you love the stories and the rest of the characters! I don’t think I could write without them. The world is flat without some variety, and I aim to get it right whether I’m playing around in my own Aeternum or dipping into the Supernatural cast and dragging Bobby out for a story or two. And my god, Walt… he’s come so much farther than I ever thought he would. Though, to be honest, he has a tendency to do his own thing and I swear I keep thinking he’s going to get himself killed one of these days.
It’s also fun in the AUs to see how a character can be tweaked by different circumstances so they react differently. So, so much fun.
You put a huge grin on my face!

Thank you for your words of support!
It was hard, but my editor and I had vastly differing opinions on things, and because of that we’d argue about them and I discovered that when this happened, any desire to write would vanish like it was never there. So, I cut things off completely for myself, and I know they probably see things differently. I was tired of dealing with writer’s block constantly, and being talked about behind my back for ‘not listening’ about stuff to put for my own damn story, and it was for my own sanity.
Now, I’ve got three different editors, depending on which series is being worked on at the time.
The other series are not yet ready for editing, and when they are we’ll have one of our loyal editors take a look at them. Because it was posted as we wrote it, Brothers Together has no editor and each part is posted as-is.
Brothers Apart won’t ever be abandoned, that’s for sure, but once A Lich of Sense is finished posting we’ll let one of the other AU’s shine in order to let me have time to work on the future stories. Don’t worry at all, anyone, all AU’s have my ‘verse style brothers, just in different interaction types, like Brothers Lost, where they are both smol (and I love them so)

Sorry about that!
As much as I love Archive for its ability to group stories by series, it also mashes everything together if you search by works. On my deviantart page, I’ve actually crafted a listing in order, so you know where each story goes. Found here.
Also, if you go to the Brothers Apart tumblr on an actual web browser, not the app, my lovely cowriter @neonthewrite took the time to put a place for all the stories.

The Stories link will take you to a page that has all the stories listed, and you can toggle between AUs and prompts, and there’s a section with all the upcoming sneak peeks as well. Currently, only Brothers Apart and Brothers Together are listed because the other AUs haven’t been released. This isn’t because we don’t want to! I just can’t physically manage more than three weekly updates. Soon, the other AUs will appear there as they are posted. We honestly can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks.
Daily excerpts are not meant to be confusing, and they aren’t meant to go with any of the stories that are posted. Those are simply a way for everyone to see what we’re working on currently. It’s little snippets from our daily writing, geared to avoid spoilers but letting people know we’re hard at work. So far, we’ve had excerpts from Brothers Lost and Brothers Asunder, both series that have not yet been released.
Read all daily excerpts from the beginning here.
