Hello everyone! It’s time for an official update, to let everyone know what we’ve been working on behind-the-scenes here at bamultiverse.com!

In-progress projects:

As far as Brothers Lost is concerned, I recently realized that we are actually working on the second season finale! As it happens, there are more than enough stories for two seasons, and we have another part in the story that can be considered a change in the dynamic. The first season finale occurs at It’s a Tall World After All, and that story will definitely result in the dynamic of the AU changing, just like it does in The Road to Nowhere.

Remember, we are always open for comments or messages! Feel free to send in any questions you may have, and the system is completely anonymous. There is no need to fill in the name or email fields if you want to stay anonymous.

On that note, since 98% of the blog is currently imported posts from the BA tumblr, please send me a message if you see any broken links! I am unable to go through each and every one myself, but I will prioritize any broken links that are found. Tumblr is infamous for breaking links.

Completed Projects:

New pages have been added to the site! You can now access the full list of published stories from the sidebar or main menu. These will list a description for each story we have posted online and links to the page you want to read them from.

Another page recently added is our Sneak Peeks! This will offer quick links to any future sneak peek of an upcoming story, easily found in the list. I have also added a list of all ‘retired’ sneak peeks– I.E. sneak peeks for stories that have already posted online, but remain archived in our system.

Prompts and Fanfiction created by our readers for the stories are the last two pages to be added to the site. Be sure to check them out!

If there are prompts, fanfiction or sneak peeks I have overlooked, send me a message and the link and I can see about adding it to the list.

Upcoming events:

There will be a week-long hiatus coming up at the end of January, when neon and night will be unavailable for vacation, but otherwise we’re looking forward to a fun year full of stories!

I think we got the question before, but it’s been a while!

We do have a storyline in mind for a tiny Jacob to meet up with canon Sam and Dean, we just haven’t had the opportunity to write it down as of this time. So, it’s in the works, along with quite a few others!

Tiny Jacob is just too much of a cutie to not put with everyone possible >w>

Well, as the title states, someone’s home will be in it… and it certainly won’t be Sam and Dean’s, since the closest they have to a home is the Impala…

Jacob would be a mess of guilt. Even knowing he didn’t directly and purposefully take the action to kill the little person, it would twist him up inside just the same as if he accidentally killed a human. That’s a whole person, and they deserved better from him. Especially considering the little folk don’t usually get a lot of consideration from humans. Their voices are small, but they deserve to be heard.

He’s also not as acclimatized/desensitized to violent deaths in the same way the Winchesters are. Death, as far as it relates to him, is a long and suffering process that hurts everyone involved. In a scenario like this, over so quick and with no real chance to prepare for it, he’d practically freeze up. Then, he’d want to be left alone to deal with it and mentally beat himself up for the mistake. It would be horribly sad to see him that way for anyone that knew him.

The Winchesters would see how regretful he is the moment it happens, and would be more understanding. Death is more prevalent in their lives, both during the curse and before, so though it hurts to see that someone died because of their friend, they do know that there’s only so much that can be done at times. Jacob does his best, but he lives in a different world from them. It’s impossible to be vigilant at every second of the day, and accidents do happen.

We haven’t added this one to the full AU list because as of this point, no one has guessed the AU name (less important) or the plot of the AU (more important). We tend to keep storylines under wraps unless it gets guessed by one of our readers, after which we’ll give the big reveal (like Brothers Lost just had with the season finale shenanigans that we’re writing).

Well, we’re not really the ones to give out headcanons, because anything we come up with is most likely to end up canon, since we’ll be the ones writing it! But for cute things… I imagine Sam will get all huffy when it comes time to move (he still hates moving around!) and what is John to do with this kid that just throws himself on his bed and dares them to move him?

Commence Dean throwing himself into the situation, talking about how he’s going to be using Sam’s bed from now on since Sam won’t need it if he’s staying here, and Sam just getting so offended by it.

Does anyone have a headcanon for Brothers Discovered? We’d love to hear what you guys think for these cuties!

This is the last time we’ll be able to share any of our own headcanons, since when we come up with them, they don’t stay headcanons long! But we encourage everyone else to come up with ideas for them!

It might not be nearly as fast and agile, but that hissing, white-feathered-snake-for-neck has some pretty strong, large, air displacing wings

Bowman would have to do his best to dart away from the blasted bird. How dare it hiss at him? It’s lucky he has a lot of practice handling harsh winds in flight, so he might be able to avoid being knocked off balance until he could get away from the thing. The angry honks would send him right into the canopy.

Will jacob from Brothers Adopted gett to meet his friends again (Chase Bobby…)?

We haven’t planned for this yet, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility. We’ve brought Chase in on another AU, and he is doing well there, so he’d be fun to bring into some others if the ideas came along.

Poor Jacob in Brothers Adopted might be nervous to try such a meeting, though. He’s accepted his curse, for the most part, but a part of it still stings. When he tried to reunite with his mother, he never expected her to reject him. He’d be worried about the same kind of response from his old friends, and might avoid the topic if it ever came up.

Bobby might be a little bit pushy at first, but Chase would stand up for his buddy. He’d be a good friend to Jacob like he always is.

How often will Jacob be having flashbacks from his ptsd in wonderland? How would the others react? Also, how would smols in general react to a human having ptsd flashbacks?

Jacob will be dealing with the backlash from Wonderland for a bit. I imagine he won’t even realize, sometimes, that he’s doing something because of his trauma, because so much happened in such a condensed time. So even something like his mom casually snapping her fingers as she tries to remember something will send him out of a room, and wide open spaces will give him pause. He’ll throw himself into other things to keep his mind off of it (like learning Morse code with Sam). But it will come to a head eventually, and the others will find out.

Rischa knows he’s dealing with more than he wants to let on. She’s been kind enough not to mention it to Bowman yet.

Both scenarios are shrinking curses by angels(archangels) -do they have anything else in common? What are the differences between Celeste’s curse and the Gabriel’s wonderland mushroom?

You’ve got a good bit of this right, but #ttol definitely does not happen in Brothers Apart! Logan is not under Celeste’s curse.

(I did tell @neonthebright that now she should totally come up with a knack for him tho….)

As for poor Logan. Gabe will be the first person to admit the mushroom’s great power is– you got it!– shrinking! And that’s it. He designed it on a whim, spotting his sister dear’s interest in this group and decided to give them a test of his own making.

Since he is a trickster, his tests are not always survivable, and this one especially so. Bite the mushroom, shrink. He never really thought someone might bite it again! So there was no built-in defense to prevent Jake from shrinking a second time.

(Bite it a third time and we might be getting into the realm from The Incredible Shrinking Sam and neon cringes). 

So the main difference between Gabriel’s mushroom and Celeste’s curse is the amount of thought that went into their plans. Hers has spanned generations, and she has carefully cultivated her experiments until finally reaching the point where it’s ready to come to a head, while Gabriel? Saw a mushroom, pointed, said “Boo!” and shrank the teddy.

Brothers Apart

Season 3 has the first story written, but it needs editing and some TLC before it’ll be ready to post. The second story is half-done, and the third is in the idea stage, with a three-part special story chain that will end with quite an interesting twist!

We’ve found where the conclusion of season 1 will be! This AU will pull in several characters that our readers might recognize both from our other stories, Supernatural episodes, and some unique OCs that will appear for the first time in BL! Two additional stories are ready for posting now, several others need to be edited and beta’d, and we’re currently writing our way through the Season 2 finale, which we have not had the chance to excerpt!

The next story will be posting at the start of the new year :3 We have several stories written, most need editing. Planned seasons for this series will be shorter, just like on the Sherlock TV show, but they’ll be full of action!

Several more stories are complete past Dean of Nowhere, but they need to be edited and beta’d. Many plans are in the works for this AU starring neon’s sprites.

One more story is completed but needs to be edited and beta’d. Other ideas are in the works to continue the storyline and take it in a very unexpected direction.

This story will take the very frazzled group back to the Wellwood in the next edition and will pull in a very familiar hunter for those who have read Bowman of Wellwood! After that, there is one more story under construction, but it’s currently on hold while we write other AUs.

The first two stories for this series are finished and waiting to be edited. We also are holding off on posting these until Stan Baker debuts in Brothers Consulted. More stories are planned to follow Stan’s path now that he’s with the Winchesters.

It’s fun playing around with a Brothers-Lost style Sam and Dean with PL1 ‘s canon storyline.

And she’s found a far more suitable subject to turn into a giant… One that lives for the chaos of a hunt…

Ok weird question here, if the boys (Sam, Dean, Jacob, and Bowman) were made to live through and help each other face their worst fear, what would each fear be and how would the others react/help (this would be the absolute worst fear beyond what was already experienced in Jacob in Wonderland.) I was rewatching the episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where they had to experience everyone’s worst nightmare, but nothing that happened was permanent at the end of the day and it made me curious.

  • Sam’s worst fear: Clowns

No matter what size Sam is, his honest-to-God worst fear will always be CLOWNS. He freezes up when he sees them, gets stuck in his head, and certainly isn’t going to like them anymore when he’s only a few inches tall!

(Hint: Do not take Sam to see the new IT movie)

Dean might screw up and tease Sam about it before realizing how serious it still bothers him. Sam might not even come out of the pocket he’s in if they’re around clowns or clown-like objects. 

  • Dean’s worst fear: Heights

Unlike Sam, Dean is often forced to confront his fear of heights head-on when he’s cursed. He’s only 3.8 inches tall, everything is high! Including his friends/brother! 

Dangling him is a terrible way to tease him, he’ll absolutely freak out and panic, and until he’s adjusted to spending time around giants, he’s leery of how high up a shoulder perch is. Don’t be surprised if you find him plastered to someone’s neck or completely hidden in a collar so he can’t look out. Pockets are welcome.

  • Bowman’s worst fear: Losing his wings

Bowman’s wings are his pride and joy. He’s worked so hard to build his skill and talent with flying, and it’s his ultimate catharsis. There’s almost no bad feeling that can’t be cured by going for a flight. If he lost that, he’d be stuck on the ground, looking up and remembering what he used to have. He’s fussy and meticulous about wing care so this doesn’t happen.

  • Jacob’s worst fear: Forgetting his dad

Jacob is aware that time is healing his grief, and he’s moved on and become the zen guy he is today after the death of his father (he was 8 at the time). However, he wants to keep honoring the man he was, and remembering him is part of that. Jacob is terrified of losing those memories, either by them becoming to hazy over time or by losing sight of himself. His dad inspired much of his current personality.
